"This is a great Char-Griller 2222 Pro Deluxe Charcoal Grill & Smoker. It gets hot and cooks the meat so well. You can cook alot in a short span of time and it is one of the most amazing smokers I have ever owned.Got grill together. Best thing is to go easy with the charcoal or wood keeping it at one level. Also go get bacon lard to season the grill grates. It will give you the best results."
"There is something so elementally satisfying about cooking over an open flame and this grill has gone above and beyond my expectations! Anyone who has ever used cast iron pans knows that they have to be seasoned if you want to maintain them and even after the 5+ years I've owned this grill, the grates are still in pristine condition because I clean them with a wire brush and then faithfully smear them completely with shortening which keeps them from rusting. The thermometer built into the lid is perfect for determining when your coals are hot enough for cooking. This Char-Griller 2222 is my baby and I wipe it down after every use and keep it in the garage in the summer and covered by a tarp on the porch in the winter (so I can keep the car in the garage). Grill is almost as beautiful as when I bought it 5+ years ago! "
