"The Char-Griller 3001 is great!!! Heavy steel Construction makes it nice and stable with optional accessories, but remember it's made of steel! so it will rust, specially if you let it get wet, dont clean it, dont cover it or leave it under direct sunlight (or the elements) for prolonged periods(Days if your wondering). I live about 100 feet from the salty ocean so I am going to have to take extra care of it and i'll be updating in a few months to see how the rust is. The grease catcher works fairly well if the bbq is on flat stable ground, if it is in a incline or on a slanted surface your going to get alot of grease all over."
"The package arrived very fast and was placed at the garage door. The box contained the words "Team Lift" cautioned us of the weight and we unpacked it and took the items one by one inside our home.
The assemblage was a challenge but the instruction booklet helped at every stage. Believe me- It took around 3 hrs for me to arrange over a course of three evenings and after assembling this steel bear ----- wolah! the Char-Griller 3001 looked cute and nice.
A heavy sturdy grill with great power. I am awaiting to try out (snow prevented our grill plans today) and will update my review.
I have seen several grills and this one is something that will never let you regret for your investment.
